Senior Formulation Scientist

📍 Ukiah, California ⏰ Full-Time 🔬 R&D

Lead formulation development projects for pharmaceutical-grade supplements and cosmetics. Apply advanced drug delivery technologies (liposomal, ODT, osmotic systems) to create innovative consumer health products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and optimize formulations using pharmaceutical development principles
  • Develop advanced delivery systems (sublingual, ODT, controlled-release)
  • Conduct stability studies per ICH guidelines
  • Lead tech transfer to manufacturing partners
  • Collaborate with regulatory team on submissions

Qualifications:

  • PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Pharmaceutics, or related field
  • 5+ years pharmaceutical or supplement formulation experience
  • Expertise in drug delivery systems
  • Experience with Quality by Design (QbD) approaches

  • Develop and validate HPLC/LC-MS methods per ICH Q2
  • Conduct stability testing and analysis
  • Perform dissolution testing for solid dosage forms
  • Heavy metal and contaminant analysis
  • Generate Certificates of Analysis and testing reports

Qualifications:

  • BS/MS in Analytical Chemistry or related field
  • 3+ years experience with HPLC, LC-MS, and analytical method development
  • Knowledge of ICH guidelines and USP methods
  • Experience in pharmaceutical or supplement QC preferred
  • Attention to detail and strong documentation skills

Regulatory Affairs Specialist

📍 Ukiah, CA or Remote ⏰ Full-Time 📋 Regulatory

Manage regulatory compliance and product registrations in USA and Vietnam markets. Prepare dossiers, maintain relationships with regulatory authorities, and ensure all products meet compliance requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and submit product registration dossiers (Vietnam MOH)
  • Ensure USA FDA compliance (supplements and cosmetics)
  • Coordinate testing at certified laboratories
  • Maintain regulatory documentation and files
  • Monitor regulatory changes and updates

Qualifications:

  • BS in relevant scientific field; advanced degree preferred
  • 3+ years regulatory affairs experience (pharmaceutical, supplement, or cosmetic)
  • Experience with international registrations (Vietnam experience a major plus)
  • Strong understanding of FDA regulations (DSHEA, 21 CFR)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Vietnamese language skills highly desirable
